When Vortex Optics entered the golf game, THP was at the forefront of bringing not just detailed information and reviews about the devices, but also the brand itself. Once we dove into their goals and aspirations, it was clear that this company is different than other rangefinder brands. Overall, it was that breath of fresh air, but when that background was combined with tremendous performance, we knew that it was a prime opportunity to get the company’s devices into the hands of the best golf community on the planet. Not only does THP have one of the most passionate communities, but also one of the most well educated when it comes to golf equipment and its performance.
It is because of that, once our Staff Writers got their hands on the entire lineup of devices from Vortex, it became clear that the Anarch would make for a deep and winding community testing. As such there were five people selected at signups to get the device sent their way so that they could put it to the test for eight weeks, all the while updating along the way. You can dive into that long term feedback here, but we also thought it made sense to ask each tester to highlight their overall experience in a one-shot breakdown you can check out below:
Vortex Anarch Rangefinder – Tester Quotes

One word to sum up my experience with the Vortex Anarch is “seamless”

The stealthy looks of the device, its ease of use, not to mention the rock solid performance made it so easy to incorporate the use of this rangefinder in my game. Plus, I’ll be keeping this one for a lifetime, thanks to the amazing warranty and customer service at Vortex!

When there is history, there are expectations. I have been aware of and owned Vortex’s hunting/shooting products in the past and so I have had experience with the brand and its customer service. Because of that, I was excited to see Vortex jump into the golf optic space.

I knew they would not cut any corners, and that product would be an immediate standard setter for quality, to which the Anarch did not disappoint. It is a very well built rangefinder that is lightning fast and extremely clear to look through. The magnet is the strongest I have seen. I love how simple the menu is with its no fuss use.
On top of all of that, Vortex boosts a true best in class customer service experience. No questions asked, if something is off, they will take care of it. That is amazing and should give owners peace of mind. I love Vortex products, and the Anarch is no exception.

The first thing that stood out to me when comparing the Anarch to my previous rangefinder was how well built it felt, solid and sturdy. Having dropped it a couple of times with no damage has proven those feelings true. Upon using the Anarch the enhanced clarity and image stabilization showed me what I didn’t know I was missing, and it is now a must have for me on the course. Coupled together with the VIP Warranty it should surely be at the top of the list for any golfer in the market for a rangefinder.

With the Anarch rangefinder, I can finally confidently lock onto the pin thanks to the built-in image stabilization.

I’ve owned a few rangefinders over the years, but I always ended up giving up on them because I couldn’t get accurate readings. It was incredibly frustrating to aim at the flag and never be quite sure I was getting the right distance. The main issue was likely my shaky hands — I just couldn’t hold the device steady enough to get a reading I could trust. On the first try, I’d often lock onto a tree behind the green instead of the pin. Enter the Vortex Anarch!
With the Anarch rangefinder, I can finally confidently lock onto the pin thanks to the built-in image stabilization. The unit vibrates when it locks onto the flag, so I know I’ve got the right target. For someone like me, who used to rely on GPS from golf carts and watches, it’s a joy to simply aim, shoot, and get the exact yardage I need. The clarity of the optics is also outstanding — crystal clear with no fog or blur. All in all, this rangefinder has been a game-changer for me!

The Vortex Anarch Rangefinder isn’t just a tool, it’s a game changer for golfers who demand precision, speed, and confidence on every shot.
By delivering slope adjusted distances, it accounts for uphill and downhill variations, giving you true playable distance measurements that remove the guesswork from club selection. Its advanced image stabilization technology keeps your target steady, even when your hands aren’t. Meaning no more fumbling to lock onto the pin in windy conditions or under tournament pressure.
With lightning fast target acquisition, you can lock onto pins, hazards and landmarks in an instant with its scan feature, keeping your pre shot routine smooth, fast and focused. No matter the terrain you face…whether you’re staring down a tucked flag on a mountain course or gauging distance across a rolling fairway, the Vortex Anarch equips you with the confidence to swing aggressively, knowing you have the exact data you need.

This range finder is for golfers who want every competitive edge and the Anarch transforms your course management from guesswork to precision, helping you play smarter, faster, and confident every round.
Very well done summary @Jman
Not a round goes by that I don’t smile at how good the Anarch is. I find myself using scan all the time and the image stabilization blows my old Bushnell out of the water.
Well done on the testing @e1iterate @Steve2100 @Raiderboost @Templet0n @dozer933 !! Was great mixing it up with you guys in there! Tons of great feedback and constructive criticism that will help Vortex improve moving forward!
Great work all around with this one. If not for the price point, the Anarch was what I wanted. But this testing had pushed me to pick up a Vortex and ultimately land on the Blade w/ slope. Cost not a factor though it would have been Anarch hands down.
It was a fun review. I think the unit is amazing and I really hope I never lose it.

Yea I am absolutely loving these.
Love this. Seamless is an incredibly interesting way to describe the product.
I still love everything about the Anarch and would 100% genuinely recommend Vortex to anyone looking to purchase a rangefinder.
Thanks so much to THP and the community here for such an awesome opportunity as I’m not sure I would have made the switch to Vortex on my own.
Love the Anarch. But I have never felt it vibrate indicating it’s locked on to the pin. But it is obviously locking on, numbers are repeatable.
Excellent wrap up. Well done by all of the testers.
