If you’ve been keeping an eye on Bushnell Golf’s social media recently, you may have seen several teasers hinting at something new and exciting. Today, the wait is finally over! Bushnell is thrilled to announce the return of the Launch Pro launch monitor, now available in the new ‘Circle B’ Editions.
“We are excited to reintroduce Launch Pro and bring tour-level accuracy to more golfers. The new Circle B Editions bring an unmistakable Bushnell Golf look with pricing and software packages that put high-performance launch monitor technology within reach like never before.”
Mark Buntz, Vice President of Product and Marketing for Revelyst Golf Technology
Bushnell Launch Pro “Circle B” New Look
When the Launch Pros were first introduced, they had a distinctive appearance, resembling Foresight’s GC3 and GCQuad. With the new ‘Circle B’ Editions, the design has become more unapologetically Bushnell. There are two models in this ‘Circle B’ launch: the Launch Pro and the LPi. The Launch Pro features a vibrant orange casing with a black “B” logo, while the LPi showcases a black backing and an orange ‘Circle B.’

Although these two launch monitors may look similar, they cater to different types of users. The Launch Pro targets golfers who want a versatile device that can be used at the driving range, on the golf course, and indoors. In contrast, the LPi version is specifically designed for indoor use, focusing on delivering one of the most affordable and accurate simulation experiences available.

With the new ‘Circle B’ editions, golfers can expect the same level of accuracy and precision as the first-generation Launch Pro and the Foresight GC3. These launch monitors use a proprietary three-camera system to capture reliable data, ensuring that golfers can trust the information provided. Unlike other launch monitors that rely on radar and require positioning behind the ball, the Launch Pro is designed to sit beside the golf ball. This makes it an excellent choice for golfers who may have limited indoor space but still want a high-quality, accurate experience.

Bushnell Launch Pro “Circle B” Subscriptions
Regardless of which Circle B Launch Pro model interests you, be aware that there are three tiers of subscription options available. At the lowest tier is a free version that offers the most basic features. With this free option, golfers get limited app access and can only view basic ball data.
Unlocking the Silver Subscription, which comes with an annual fee of $199, provides users with significantly more options. Instead of limited access, subscribers will have full FSX Pro app access and, more importantly, will receive both ball and club data. By choosing the Silver plan, golfers will also gain access to five simulator courses through Foresight’s FSX Play platform. This option strikes a good balance for golfers who are interested in additional data metrics and may also want to dabble in simulator play.
For golfers seeking the ultimate experience, the Gold Subscription provides everything included in the Silver tier, plus additional benefits. FSX Play expands to feature 25 courses, providing greater variety for garage simulation sessions. Users on the Gold plan can also pair the Launch Pro with GSPro, which features an extensive catalog of courses. Please note that the $499 fee for this subscription only enables the ability for GSPro play, meaning users will still need to maintain a separate membership with GSPro to fully utilize that platform.
Pricing
Launch Pro: $2,499
LPi: $1,499

Well wow! Great pricing and think the new branding is fantastic!!! The subscription levels seem to offer a variety and should meet what each specific user is looking for. Priced extremely affordable for those looking to dive into the Simulation world of golf and knowing your data!!!

The only thing I’m not loving is it appears there is no mobile app only gaming PC. I could’ve missed it though.
If that’s something you already have then this is looking like a great option

I thought with previous versions you could use iPad or such. I’m quoting for GC3 though. I couldn’t run Simulator courses on the iPad.
That’s why it would be nice if full ball and club data was included with the base unit, or at least a less expensive tier which just unlocked those features and no golf courses, for those who are going to use it exclusively outdoors as a launch monitor and not a sim.
These look fantastic, great write up @ddec !!!
Looks interesting but as someone that had a launch pro…the hardware and software is so stagnant. Upgraded to a protee xv and what a world difference it is to get software updates monthly with huge new features…one reason I could not go back…in the entire 2 years having the units nothing noticeable changed in both the software or hardware.
Still probably the best in that 2k price range but it’s a shame someone is not shaking it up more at that price(maybe eye? Haven’t tried it)
I love my BLP. Had it for a few years now.
Coming back around to this thread again and it strikes me that Bushnell went full blown Bushnell orange on the one intended for outside and much more understated on the indoor only one.
I kinda love that bravado.

I definitely applaud them for that move.
Like said above, the orange is a fantastic color release, great read but a little out of my market

The orange looks killer to me.

I know we’ve talked LM’s, so talk to me. Your thoughts on this vs say Mevo Gen 2
After taking a bit of time to actually look at and compare the 2 simulators a few things stood out.
If you have an indoor setup with a gaming PC, the BLP is far and away the better option. Being a camera based device this isn’t shocking. However if you don’t have a gaming PC and are left with only an iPad or mobile device, the mobile app seems quite limited. Per Playbetter.com there is no native connector to the E6 app so you are stuck with GSPro or Awesome Golf. You do however have a screen that can read out all of your numbers eliminating the need for a mobile device while using the BLP.
Which brings us to subscriptions.
Silver Subscription ($199 annually) was already mentioned and the one I personally would go with since I only use a launch monitor for practice. You have access to 5 courses and FSX Pro with this tier.
Gold subscription ($499 annually) unlocks 25 courses and 3rd party apps which appears to only be 2 options:

The Mevo Gen2 as you know doesn’t have a subscription. With a price tag of $1299 for the base model you get 8 courses through E6 connect, FS Golf practice app (mobile), FS Golf Skills app (mobile), and completely unlocked 3rd party app access. To get a more pro level experience though you would have to purchase the Pro Package and Face Impact Location softwares that are currently on sale for $850 if you buy both which brings the total to $2149.
The kicker with the Mevo Gen 2 would be in the technology used. Radar struggles to catch short chips and putts which is something the BLP has allegedly been very good at. If you plan to use the device for sim rounds or plan to play in the Simulator Golf Tour then chipping and putting is something you want to work right.
Set up between the 2 devices seems to give the nod to the BLP with a VERY fast and easy set up especially compared to the Mevo Gen2.
I still think the Mevo Gen2 is an incredible device and one I would gladly purchase. The BLP is very intriguing though especially at this price.
I think it comes down to where and how you want to use your simulator. For me I would prefer a camera based system if I was going to spend $2000+ but that does t mean I would disregard a good radar system like the Mevo.

Man I absolutely love that you went through with this kind of research and response. Because you are right, there’s always more to consider that don’t automatically come to mind when picking one unit over the other.

That’s key in my opinion when starting the process of finding the right launch monitor for you and one I’ve missed on before.
If I can help someone make the right choice without the headache of picking the wrong set up then I’m more than happy to do just that.
Plus I just REALLY love launch monitors and how they make golf more accessible.
I like the BLP as a formfactor, usability and setup , but the subscription at 200-500USD p.a. is just nuts these days, especially the Gold Tier. After 3 years you are at the points were you could have bought the R50 which is feature richer, or a Uneekor Eye Mini at 3k which includes club and ball data already without subs, if you do range exclusively.
I would love to see a Mevo Gen2 offering and price range for optical as well – the data points are unmatched. Setup is a bit more finicky that I agree, but so far loving the unit on the range.

Big issue for me is that this is “designed for use in the US” and needs to be internet connected at least every 45 days from within the US to function. I’m assuming it’s a licensing issue – or maybe not – but it sucks.. big time.

Well I dropped my details into a GC3S ad on Facebook, which miraculously appeared shortly after posting this. Got a call today from the Foresight guys here in the UK this afternoon to follow up and we spoke for 20 minutes a little on the GC3S, but mainly the Bushnell LP.
The great news for us in the UK and EMEA is that they are now removing the US only restriction and the Bushnell will legitimately be available here in the new year and that they are taking pre-orders.
List price is £2790 so pretty much £ for $ and that includes VAT (or sales tax)
Subscriptions are direct with the US and are as detailed in other posts – $199 for the silver subscription to get club data and 5 courses.
I’m not immediately in the market for one, but this probably jumps ahead of the Garmin R50 which is about £4500 – albeit that it is fully enabled for GS Pro and there is no subscription. I’d need to be practicing more at the range, and needing data, than I am at the moment. But the availability and prices trending are positive.
so basically $750/year to get GSpro…
